Is this really one of the greatest superhero movies ever made?
Not likely. For starters it's far too LONG. Running for almost 157 minutes it needs the services of a skilled editor who could tighten up the scenes. As it stands at the moment the narrative is often difficult to follow. Also, the most irritating aspect about this film is the conflit between the hero (the Batman) and the chief villian (the Joker). Here, the latter outshines the former.
